At the heart of every photo I take, there is a deeper story. A story of self-discovery, growth, and alignment. The Her Inner Light session is a space for women to be seen, reflect and re-discover the parts of themselves they might not know existed.
Each black & white portrait reveals how your energy moves, where your strength rests, and the softness you carry.
This project grew from a shift in myself. As I embraced my femininity and studied Human Design (it is a tool that helps you understand how your energy works and how you’re naturally designed to make decisions, interact with others, and live with more ease), I began to see women through their energy, not just their appearance.
The session is tailored to reflect your individual strengths, rhythm, and expression.

My Approach to Your Portrait Session
This isn’t just another photoshoot. It’s a unique portrait session that goes beyond perfect poses. It’s about seeing yourself through a new lens honouring both your softness and your strength.
Each session is guided by your unique Human Design. Together, we explore how your energy moves, where you feel grounded, and how life flows through you. We shape this session together and you’re part of the art-making, not just turning up and posing. Every element from your poses to the natural setting is chosen with intention to reflect your inner world.
Over two hours, we create a calm and supportive space for something personal and powerful to unfold. This is more than photography. It’s a self-discovery experience through portraiture.

Before the shoot, I’ll get to know your energy and personality, so the session feels aligned and natural. I’ll choose poses and backgrounds that reflect different sides of you and guide you with gentle prompts to help you connect emotionally. The space we create together will be calm, supportive, and free of judgement.

We’ll explore a range of expressions like strength, stillness, softness, and joy. Each image will reflect a different aspect of who you are, offering a fuller picture of your inner world. My role as a creative is to choose a setting that aligns with your Human Design and the mood we aim to capture.

You won’t need to pose. I’ll guide you with care, while leaving space for natural movement and emotion to lead.

To confirm your Her Inner Light session, a $250 deposit is required at the time of booking which covers my time creating your personalised session plan and analyse your birth data to create this transformative experience for you.
The remaining balance is due before your final images are delivered. While the deposit is non-refundable, it can be transferred to a new date if weather conditions are unsuitable or an unexpected emergency arises. I’ll always do my best to stay flexible—life happens, and I get it.
After your session, you can expect to receive your fully edited portraits within 2 to 4 weeks. Your images will be available to view and download directly to your computer for safekeeping. During that time, you'll also receive your personalised digital Soul Report. Once your ten images are delivered, I’ll mail you a printed postcard featuring one of your portraits.

Nope, not at all. I’ll guide you through it in a way that’s simple and easy to take in. I do the prep before we meet, so during the session you can just focus on the experience. Think of it as a doorway into understanding yourself, not a test to study for.

That’s totally normal. Most women I work with say the same at the start. This isn’t about posing or perfection. It’s about feeling. We take our time, we breathe, we chat. I guide you gently, and before you know it, something shifts. You stop performing, and start softening. And that is why we have 2hr to create the magic. The process can feel vulnerable, I get it. Bet that is the best part, because being vulnerable will create a shift in you you might have dreamt of for a while now. I am here for you!

For clothing, you’ll only need to bring:
one white top of your choice
one black top of your choice
black pants
No professional makeup is required—this shoot is all about capturing your natural presence. Once your session is confirmed, I’ll send you a simple guide with tips on how to prepare, including clothing, mindset, and we will chat over Zoom on what to expect on the day.
Just remember that comfort is key. Confidence follows.

That’s completely fine. You don’t need to be in a certain mindset to benefit from this. It’s not about being “spiritual”, it’s about being open. To yourself. To the experience. To being seen. But if you need to wait, I will be here to welcome you whenever you are ready. This experience might not be for everyone, which is absolutely fine.

Yes, they’ll be professionally edited in black and white with contrast and depth to reflect the emotion and light. But I don’t over-edit. I won’t transform you into a stranger. These images are about honouring you as you are, not hiding you behind filters. But of course if there is something you wish me to “delete“ from the picture, I am more than happy to work on it. You don’t like your wrinkles? That is fine, I will minimise them. I want you to LOVE the end result!

Sessions are held outdoors, using natural light (usually during the morning or midday sun to create light and shadow contrasts). I shoot across a few handpicked spots on the North Shore, Auckland, chosen for their light, texture and quiet beauty. I’ll share exact location details once we lock in your date.
