YOUR PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

The truth is: every session is different because every woman is different.

Before we shoot:

We’ll start by having a chat. I want to know how you’re feeling, what you’re nervous and excited about. This isn’t a transaction—I’m truly invested in making this work for you. I do my best work when you put trust in me.

During your session:

I’ll guide you through everything. You don’t need to have anything figured out beforehand. Most women walk in thinking they need to know how to pose or look natural. You’re the only person who knows how to be you. I just ask you to trust my direction and let go of control (I know—tricky for us overachievers).

The vibe:

My goal is to capture the truth of you and your energy and I’ll adjust my approach based on how you’re feeling that day. Emotionally exhausted? Anxious about being the focus? Hysterically excited/nervous? We can work with all that because your comfort will always come first.

After your session:

Your finished gallery will arrive within a week.

But the change in your confidence happens immediately. I fully expect you to text me that week with a big win before the gallery even hits your inbox.

You’ll come back to these images when you need reminding. They’re not just pretty pictures to post and forget. They’re the moment you chose yourself.

    And if you want a little extra nurturing, I work with a professional hair and makeup artist who can be booked for an added touch of luxury.

  • Almost every woman who walks into my studio feels that way at first. We take things slowly. We breathe, we chat, we ease into the moment. I guide you gently, and gradually something shifts.

    You relax as you begin to see yourself through a different lens.

    It’s natural to feel vulnerable, but vulnerability is often the doorway to the transformation you’ve been dreaming about. And I’m right there with you the whole way.

    I don’t over-edit or alter your natural features. You won’t look like someone else. This process is about honouring you as you are, not hiding behind filters.

    If there’s anything specific you’d like softened or removed—like a breakout or smile lines—just let me know. I want you to truly love your portraits.

  • Yes. I have partnered with an incredible hair and makeup artist who elevates your natural beauty and helps you feel cared for from the moment you arrive. She will also stay with us throughout first part of the session to touch up your hair and makeup when needed.

  • Black or white pieces work beautifully with the contrast in my studio, but the most important thing is that you feel confident and comfortable. Choose clothing that makes you feel more you. I will also provide a prep guide with useful tips & tricks to look your best on the day.

    We can include multiple outfit changes to create different moods, and you’re welcome to email me your options if you’d like help deciding.

    I’m also building a client wardrobe, so soon you’ll be able to arrive without needing to bring anything at all!
